Our Mission

Northwest Christian Academy exists for the purpose of assisting the local church in fulfilling Christ’s command: “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” This institution is built upon the framework of Reformed theology and seeks to provide a biblical worldview to equip students to advance the kingdom of God.

Eagles Volleyball Team Aces Another Game

Our Northwest Eagles played Brito Miami Private at the Eagles Nest on September 2. Our Lady Eagles volleyball team was on point in the game, playing great defense, scoring consecutively, and most importantly, winning the game.

The stand-out play was when junior Monica Sapp came down with a great spike that gave our Eagles the lead in the first set and after Monica spiked the ball, there were plenty more by senior Vanessa Valcour and the team.

Speaking of Vanessa Valcour, she was on fire this game with 9 kills, 13 aces, and 6 dinks.  As usual, she played in a very alert and aggressive manner.  In my book, she was the most valuable player of the game. Our Lady Eagles were at their best today, forcing the other team to give up points, making aces, blocks, digs, dinks and assists all together as a team.  This game was won with great team effort. Everyone was in one accord playing with unity and there were not too many mistakes made. Monica Sapp leaps for the spike.

Our Lady Eagles are pressing their way to State, and they need a great amount of support every game.  I like where the team is going this season.  I see great expectations for them, and I don’t think there is another team that is going to stop them from reaching their highest team goals. Let’s Go Eagles!
